Starting fresh is a great way for you to begin a new chapter in your life. Remember that chapters come in all shapes and sizes so you can start a new chapter anytime: new job, promotion, break-up, new boyfriend, new girl friend, new set of dishes, any major life decision, etc. It doesn’t take much except for the will-power and determination required to really start new.
Starting over doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re picking yourself up after a failure (though it may have that connotation). Often it means that you realize that a few changes need to be made in order for you to feel better about where your life is going. It also means that you’re being proactive about where you want your life to go.
When you are looking to start fresh, try to pick changes that you will be able to continue after this portion of your life; long term changes like:
**Being generous to people instead of just being nice to that smelly guy in the cubicle next to you. J **Start being productive-end procrastination.
**Set realistic goals-surround yourself with progress.
**Practice an attitude of gratitude.
