“Everything in moderation.” They mean it when they say “everything.” Not only do they mean treats like frozen yogurt and cookies, but they are also referring to healthy things like carrots (too much will turn your skin orange – it’s not permanent, just annoying) and exercise.
I can hear most of you now, “Whaaat? Too much exercise? There’s no such thing.”
Of course there is! So how can you tell if you’re exercising too much? There are a couple of tell-tale signs if you are a workout addict. First of all, are you scheduling rest days? Even if you don’t think so, your body needs time to recoup. So schedule one rest day (or two) throughout your week.
If you get fidgety, anxious, or feel like you need to get up and be active during your rest day, that’s find. Do something easy (like take a stroll around the neighborhood) so that your body can be moving but won’t be exerting itself.
